Román, was born April 1979 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He studied fine arts at The National School of Fine Arts in Tegucigalpa. He was influenced and inspired by his uncle, Ulysses Rivera, a recognized Teacher of the arts in Tegucigalpa. Román currently resides in Tegucigalpa with his wife Elide and his children Axel and Leví.
Román is a watercolorist and uses very pure and traditional techniques. Combining creativity with exceptional skill, he has successfully created his own artistic style. Roman specializes in portraits and gives drawing and painting workshops. For more than a decade, he has worked as a graphic designer and participated in large advertising campaigns for various companies in Honduras. His work can be observed in Gallery Portinari in Tegucigalpa, Gallery Maco in San Pedro and now in Waves of Art Gallery in Roatan.
